Introducing the new version – LMS Collaborator v.3.1.0!

    1. Updates for quizzes: even more convenience

In LMS Collaborator, it’s easy to organize any type of assessment – from quick knowledge checks to comprehensive evaluations. The platform supports various question types: with one or more correct answers, sequencing, classification, matching, selecting the correct elements in an image, as well as open-ended questions.

In this version, we focused on making administrators’ daily work with quizzes even easier and faster:

    1. Group actions in the new design.

You no longer need to work on each question individually. Now you can clean up the question database and edit the test structure in just a few clicks. Simply select the desired questions using the checkboxes and apply a group action:

    – removing,
    – tagging,
    – adding to groups,
    – selecting the display mode for single and multiple questions.

It saves a lot of time, especially when working with large quizzes.

    2. Responsive interface for smartphones.

Creating quizzes from your smartphone is now even more convenient. The interface adapts to your screen, so you can easily edit questions, check the structure, or make changes on the go.

    3. Controlling AI-generated content.

When generating questions using artificial intelligence, you no longer have to wait for the system to finish. You can stop the process at any time – whether you’ve received enough options or want to change the settings.

    4. Filter by organizational structure in quizzing reports.

Using the organizational structure filter, you can instantly generate a test report for the specific departments that interest you. This allows you to quickly compare training results across departments and get an overall picture of performance by department.

    2. Updates for tasks

2.1. Author and co-author in tasks

In tasks, you can specify the author and add co-authors.

It is especially convenient when a task is created based on an existing learning resource. For example, an expert may have developed a course or program, but the task is created by an administrator. In this case, it is important that the expert be listed as the task author. You can also add a co-author, for example, if several people are working on the task.

    authors

In addition, this allows for flexible configuration of task access. If a user has permission to manage their own tasks, they will see only those tasks where they are listed as the author or co-author. This simplifies navigation, reduces the amount of unnecessary data, and allows everyone to focus on their own area of responsibility.

2.2. New design for additional task settings page

We continue to update the design of LMS Collaborator’s interface. In this version, we’ve updated the assignment settings page to make it even easier to use. The interface is now more modern and intuitive.

    task

Convenient switches, drop-down lists, and a side menu have been added for quick navigation. Simply select the option you want, and the system will automatically take you to it on the page.

    3. Notification log: all communications in one place

LMS Collaborator offers various channels for communicating with employees: email, SMS, Telegram, Viber, Microsoft Teams, and others. You can choose the notification formats that work best for you, depending on the task and your audience.

Now there is no need to switch between pages to analyze different channels. The entire communication history is compiled in a single log, allowing you to analyze and monitor the process more quickly. On the page, you can view the delivery status, the channel used for sending, the message subject, the recipient, and other details.

    4. Updates for Kudos

Kudos in LMS Collaborator is a great way to foster a culture of recognition and support within the team. Employees can send each other kind words to acknowledge successful projects, completed tasks, support provided, and more.

We’ve added a few improvements to help make your kudos even more meaningful:

    1. Controlling the number of sent kudos.

You can set a limit on the number of kudos an employee can send in a month. This helps prevent kudos from becoming a mere formality. The limit makes them more meaningful: employees choose more carefully what exactly to thank someone for, and this is perceived as more valuable.

    2. Categories of kudos.

Now you can categorize kudos, such as teamwork, initiative, mentorship, or other values. These categories will appear in the feed and in messages. If needed, you can make selecting a category mandatory.

    kudos

This helps you organize your kudos while reinforcing the values that are important to your company.

    5. Working with Integrations: Convenience and new features

LMS Collaborator integrates seamlessly into your IT ecosystem and complements the tools your team already uses. These integrations help bring communication, training, and workflows together in a single environment.

In this version, we’ve updated the interface and added new integrations to make them easier and faster to use.

    • Updated design of the integrations page.

The “Integrations” page now features a new, user-friendly interface. It includes toggles, drop-down lists, and a side menu for quick navigation between settings. It’s now easier to navigate the settings and quickly find what you’re looking for.

    integration

    • Integration with Azure OpenAI.

LMS Collaborator 3.0 has been integrated with OpenAI and Amazon Bedrock AI tools.

We’ve added another provider – Azure OpenAI. This gives you more freedom in choosing tools and allows you to work with AI solutions that are already in use at your company, especially if you’re working within the Microsoft ecosystem.

    • Integration with Signal.

LMS Collaborator вже підтримує інтеграції з популярними месенджерами: Telegram, Viber, Slack та MS Teams для надсилання сповіщень із системи.

    blank

Now Signal has joined the list. You can use it as another communication channel and choose the one that works best for your team.

    6. Bonus system: greater transparency and control

Bonuses in LMS Collaborator are a way to further motivate employees and recognize their contributions to work and learning. They can be earned by completing tasks or as a token of appreciation from colleagues or an administrator for professional achievements. Employees can redeem their accumulated bonuses for gifts in the corporate store: various accessories, corporate merchandise, books, electronics, gift certificates, and more.

Bonus awards are now displayed in the employee’s personal notification feed in the Collaborator LMS. This feed includes all bonus-related events: for completing tasks, receiving bonuses from colleagues, or awards from the administrator.

    notification

Employees can immediately see which bonuses they’ve received and what they were earned for, without having to check or search for this information. This makes the system more transparent and easier to understand.

We’ve also improved the bonus accrual and redemption log.

    bonuses

Now, in addition to the current balance, the journal displays the number of bonuses after each transaction – whether a credit or a debit. This allows you to view the complete history of changes and easily track how an employee’s balance is calculated.

    7. New notification template: webinar start reminder

LMS Collaborator supports integration with popular webinar platforms: BigBlueButton, Zoom, and MS Teams. Employees can join a webinar directly from a task, and the system automatically records their participation and assigns a grade.

You can learn more about setting up various webinar integrations here

To help employees avoid missing scheduled webinars, we’ve added a new message template – a reminder about the start of the webinar.

    blank

The system automatically sends notifications to all designated users as soon as the webinar begins. For example, if the webinar starts at 10:00 a.m., the notification is sent at exactly that time.

Please note! The message template is enabled by default; if necessary, you can disable it in the system settings under “Notification templates.”

    8. Competencies assessment: configuring the calculation for a zero value

Competencies are the foundation of systematic employee development and one of the key tools for evaluating employee performance. In the Collaborator LMS, you can maintain a competency library, create job profiles, and evaluate employees using a specified scale.

If your scale includes a “0” option (for example, as “don’t know” or “can’t rate”), you can specify how it is factored into the results.

In situations where the evaluator has not interacted with the employee or does not have enough information, it is important that such a response does not lower the overall rating or distort the picture.

    assessment

To avoid this, you can enable the option: “A score of 0 indicates no response.” The system will exclude these responses from the calculation and generate a result based only on the scores where a valid response was provided.

    9. Notifications: Quick assignment via CSV file

Notifications in LMS Collaborator help you quickly share important information with employees, such as scheduled meetings, in-person learning sessions, or other events. You can create different types of notifications depending on the purpose: for informational purposes, as an event, or as a reminder, with the option to receive feedback.

It’s now even easier to assign notifications: you can add users in a list via a CSV file. This is convenient when you need to reach a large audience or work with a specific group.

    blank

Simply upload the prepared file, and the system will automatically assign the announcement to all relevant employees.

    10. Management by objectives (MBO): the weight of KPIs within the objective

Management by objectives (MBO) in LMS Collaborator helps align the company’s strategic goals with specific employee tasks. Managers can set goals, break them down into KPIs, and track progress toward achieving them.

Now, within a single objective, you can set a weight for each KPI (in list view) – that is, specify the percentage contribution each metric makes toward achieving the objective. Based on these values, the system automatically calculates the overall weight of the objective.

    strategic plan

It allows managing KPI priorities. You can assign weights to each metric – and the final result will be calculated based on their importance, rather than equally.

To avoid inconsistencies, if a weight is set for each KPI, the system automatically determines the goal’s weight and prevents manual editing. All settings are saved, even if the option is temporarily disabled.

KPIs can also be weighted directly in goal templates to save time on manual configuration each time.

As a result, you get more precise goal management, transparent evaluation criteria, and less manual work when setting tasks.

    11. CAPTCHA update

CAPTCHA in LMS Collaborator is used for logging in, registering and resetting passwords to distinguish real users from bots and protect the system from automated attacks.

The CAPTCHA format, which consists of an image containing letters and numbers, can be inconvenient: the characters aren’t always easy to recognize, which slows down the login process and leads to errors.

That’s why we’ve updated the verification process. Now, all you need to do is confirm that you’re not a robot by clicking “I am a human.”

    CAPTCHA

It makes interacting with the system easier: users can log in faster and don’t have to waste time entering characters.

At the same time, the new mechanism provides a higher level of security. It more effectively blocks automated scripts, reduces the risk of mass password-guessing attempts, fake registrations, and other types of attacks.

    12. News: filter by reactions

News in LMS Collaborator is a convenient tool for keeping employees informed and engaging them in company life. Here, you can post event announcements, internal news, important updates, or any information you need to share with the team.

While viewing news, employees can react – by liking or disliking posts. This adds interactivity and helps you quickly understand how they perceive the content. All reactions are recorded in the system under the “Notifications and Views” section next to each specific news item.

    news

Now, on this page, administrators can filter users by their reactions. This makes the process much easier. Instead of manually reviewing posts, simply apply a filter – and you’ll immediately see who exactly liked or disliked a post.

    13. External certificates: more information about the program

In LMS Collaborator, employees can receive certificates for successfully completing training – these are automatically generated using a template and saved in the user’s profile under the “Certificates” section.

At the same time, employees often complete training outside the platform: they attend courses or webinars and receive certificates for them. In LMS Collaborator, these can also be saved in the profile to provide a complete picture of their development in one place.

Now, when uploading external certificates, you can specify additional information – the training period and the number of hours spent.

    certificate

It allows recording the training context and obtaining more comprehensive information about employee development.

All additional information is available in a convenient format: simply open the certificate, and the details will appear in a pop-up window.
