LMS Collaborator FAQ

Our company started working with LMS Collaborator in July 2022. It is not our first platform for posting learning information and organizing employee training. So we have something to compare with. I really like the fast work of the technical support: LMS Collaborator employees are always flexible with ideas for changes to the portal, as well as with the terms of cooperation.

We are impressed with the functionality. Our training section uses surveys, training programs, courses based on educational video content, and, of course, tests.

It is very convenient and quick to create any material, from a gallery, text material to videos and links. It is also convenient to analyze the content and user activity, which is very important for planning the next training programs.

Currently, the learning portal has more than 100 users, and the system works stably and without lags.

We are very pleased with the platform and are planning a long-term cooperation!

“The best choice for corporate learning”

Overall: We are consulting in the field of corporate learning. And I chose LMS Collaborator as an online platform for organizing and automation the learning process for partner enterprises.

Pros: It has all you need and some options others don’t have, for example:
– non-linear trajectories with conditional transitions
– flexible skill assessment module
– offline event registration,
– like individual practical exercises
– high degree automatically set up assignments based on the company’s organizational structure, city, position, or any other labels you create
– flexible reporting system
It`s combined with ease of setup and administration+ overfunctions: if you have a not big company, then you can not use some other systems, because there is functionality of an information portal, HRM elements and a task manager+ very good support

Cons: no mobile app. It lacks the ability to work offline (only if some content is made available for download)

Reasons for Choosing LMS Collaborator: Most of the popular services are more like ELS – e-Learning systems, among witch there are good solutions for remote work with content, organization of paid online schools, but there is not enough functionality for corporate training: advanced automation, organizational structure, assessment, offline events, corporate information portal.

Overall: I like to create large education programs, expand online library, and publish company news for users.We use this LMS every day!

Pros: You can upload different types of information. The system has usable program and course constructor, tests, automation settings.

Cons: It’s not possible to set different deadlines for different users in training programs and tests.

Working with LMS Collaborator is very convenient.

The company has been working with this platform for more than a year, and during all this time, no problematic situations have arisen.
The multifunctionality and ease of use of this portal are impressive.
The support team always responds quickly to questions and provides immediate feedback.

Among the wishes – I would like to be able to upload videos larger than 800 MB, and presentations larger than 200 MB to maintain the quality of the content.

I have been working with the Collaborator distance learning system for about 3 years. Previously I implemented this platform at another place of work. So as soon as they decided to change the learning platform in the Union Group company I was offered to consider LMS Collaborator and after several preliminary meetings we decided to implement this system.

The following criteria were important to us in selecting an LMS:

1.       The developer company must be Ukrainian
2.       User-friendly interface
3.       Access to the learning platform from any device, be it a smartphone or laptop
4.       Cloud data storage solution that does not involve the expenses for additional server hardware
5.       Monthly payment for the use of services

The platform meets all of the above criteria.

We deployed the system for our company quickly enough, within 1-2 weeks we set up an access page for our users, and thanks to the convenient data exchange between the Collaborator and our HR accounting program. Thanks to the flexible settings every day there is an exchange of data between the databases, allowing both to add new users and block access for employees who have ceased to work in our company. I would also like to highlight the useful and convenient functionality in the form of “Automation Rules”, which allowed us to configure automatic assignment of training programs and certifications to employees who came to work in our Company.

After creating a user base, we began filling the system with learning material. Again, simplicity in use and uploading is a great advantage. It is possible to upload files of any format and type by restricting access to certain documents to different categories of employees, if necessary. Easy navigation due to self-created sections in the Document Library, as well as what attracted our Sales Support Department – the ability to search for documents posted on the platform, not only by title, but also by keywords in the content, which greatly simplifies the work of our front office.

Speaking of more advanced learning materials, the system supports the most common type of e-courses, SCORM, which allows us to easily upload the already developed base of e-courses to the new system.

Today we have about 800 users who regularly take courses in the system. The load per employee is 2-3 e-courses per month. With a high level of activity in the early hours after the appointment of courses, servers cope and OS from employees on the inability to pass training / slowness of the system when passing the tests, which we have encountered on other platforms is absent, so the server can withstand the load.

Future plans involve the inclusion of office personnel in the learning process through the LMS, as well as the start of work on the evaluation procedures.

Our team had a good experience with Collaborator over the past two years.

We have been using LMS Collaborator for about 9 months (may 2020). During this period, thanks to the specialists of the developer company, we managed to make significant changes and adjustments to the needs of our business. Today our company has about 6000 users who regularly use the system for their own training and development. The user-friendly interface of the system makes it easy to understand all the subtleties and find the necessary information. Thanks to the mobile version of the site, employees can take assigned courses and programs on their way to and from work.
Every month, we prescribe at least 4 training courses for more than 4500 employees and even during peak hours the system has no problems with processing such a big amount of data.
We would like to make a special mention of the Support Service for prompt response to incoming questions and their readiness to help in the realization of individual needs of users.

I’ve been working with the LMS Collaborator for three years now. During this period the interface and features of the system have changed significantly, the interface has become much more convenient and at the moment it is intuitive, structured and logical. We use LMS in Promodo company for personnel onboarding, personnel evaluation and, of course, we actively use the system for training our employees.

This is an excellent platform for training and testing of employees. A very user-friendly interface and a reporting system for any analytics. Literally, every action of an employee can be monitored in online mode. More than six months passed since we implemented this product in our company.  During this time we managed to implement automated training programs for trainees, conducted 3 attestations of all sales personnel and, of course, employees obtain new knowledge every week through the LMS.

In 2016 our company switched to a new LMS platform – Collaborator-  which significantly has a higher level of functionality, performance and building logic than the previously used system. We enjoy the advantages provided by Collaborator.

In my practice, I have already worked with distance learning systems. Collaborator is the third in a row and the most successful of them. The system has convenient basic functionality, excellent features. Along with the flexible approach of the system creators in the implementation of individual requests and solution of learning tasks, they desire to help and be involved in the realization of client’s ideas plays an important role.

LMS Collaborator is very easy to learn and allows you to implement the most incredible ideas. For example, now we combine in-person and distance assignments, train groups and work individually, build training programs, implement a training centre and established an informing system on what is happening in the company in terms of training and development of personnel.
